6th InHealth Radiographer Reporting Study Evening

Pathways, Practitioner, Promotion: The role of the radiographer

Over the last 25 years, we have seen the role of a radiographer develop considerably. Evolution of healthcare has necessitated changes in roles, shifting care across the entire workforce including assistant, practitioner and advanced practitioners.

The health service, however, is demanding more and more. In particular, the Allied Health Professions, including radiographers, are being required to upskill in order to cope with the new models of care and streamlined pathways, all in a backdrop of significant capacity issues facing radiology. This is in addition to our own workforce crisis, so how do we manage this demand?

InHealth Reporting, in conjunction with the SCoR & BIR are proud to present our 3rd Annual North Region Study Evening; Pathways, Practitioner, Promotion: The role of a radiographer, where we will aim to take a closer look at this challenge. We once again have an excellent panel of speakers who will offer their expertise and insights into what is required from our profession to deliver against the demands of today’s NHS. We ask how the 3 “P’s” can enable radiographers to influence the outcomes of the main “P” in all of this……The Patient!
