Second time win for InHealth’s Endoscopy Service

InHealth has been awarded the contract for the delivery of Community Gastroenterology Services (CGS) – Tier 3 of the 5 Year Integrated Gastroenterology Transformation (IGT), for the population of Ipswich and East Suffolk (IESCCG) and The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust.   InHealth has provided endoscopy services to IESCCG since 2012 and successfully piloted the Prior Approval Service at its JAG accredited, custom built site in Ipswich.

The contract, commencing January 2019, will replace the existing community endoscopy service, incorporate the existing Gastro Prior Approval Service and  encompass the wider 5 Year Integrated Gastroenterology Transformation. InHealth will help bridge the gap between Primary and Acute care for patients with Gastro conditions.

As an integral partner delivering the 5 Year Integrated Gastroenterology Transformation, the contract will provide InHealth with the opportunity to help shape community gastroenterology in the area, in partnership with the Acute Hospital, over the next five years.
