New Audiology Clinic in Ashton-under-Lyne

InHealth has opened an additional clinic as part of its AQP contract to deliver NHS adult hearing services in Greater Manchester.  The clinic will provide a comprehensive service for adults experiencing hearing and communication difficulties who feel they might benefit from hearing assessment, with the option of trying hearing aids with aftercare and support, local to home.  Located at Highlands Surgery, Ashton-under-Lyne, and running for 2 days every week, it will provide free, high quality, efficient hearing assessment and hearing aid fitting services to the local community. The first clinic is due to take place on 10th September.

Patient booking, hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting and maintenance will be delivered by our highly trained audiologists with appointments within 7 days of referral.  Hearing aids can be fitted on the same day as assessment and all our patients receive an individual management plan which includes hearing aid adjustment, repair and re-fitting for up to 3 years.  We also provide a “Speech-in-Noise” test as standard which gives us information on a patients’ ability to hear in background noise so that they are fitted with the most appropriate hearing device for them.
